Rules and Regulations Empty Rules and Regulations

In order to maintain the forum for the benefit of everyone we ask you to note the following (The following list gives examples of the kinds of content that would be deemed inappropriate. This is by no means an exhaustive or prescriptive list, and both members and moderators are encouraged to use their own considered judgement when handling with inappropriate content);

Rules and Regulations 4tpu7m

1.Profane language

  • Any interaction towards other members with the use of profanity will be subjected inappropriate and could lead to the suspension of account, or worse, permanent ban.


  • Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc. Doing so is a waste of time. Unsolicited messages are entirely prohibited. This includes posting of irrelevant content, monotonous posting for nonsensical posts, and unauthorized advertising within the forum.

    • These may be considered as a Spamming:

      1. *Posting with only Smilies
      2. *Posting of LESS than 2 words.
      3. *A post which is not connected to the main topic.
      4. *Posting a thread with no proper Descriptions.

3.Bumping A Thread

  • Bumping a Thread is allowed after a period of time (which is 24 Hours). Bumping a Thread which has been inactive over 4 weeks (or a Month) and Bumping a Thread less than the time given are not allowed. Any form of abuse with regard to this rule will be punished accordingly.


  • Do not post anything which is offensive, hateful, racist, sexist, discriminatory, obscene, vulgar or in violation of local or international laws. Personal attacks or assaulting students with belittling, insulting or threatening contents are forbidden. Flaming is absolutely unpleasant and will be subjected to moderation and possibly incur a ban.


  • Deliberate provocation, anger and insulting approach to fellow members, through posts or private messages are also prohibited. Posts of this nature are disruptive and does not convey an ounce of friendly attitude.

6.Posting Nonsense

  • Similar to spamming, any posts that are irrelevant or illogical are unacceptable. Activity such as this may be as a way to increase the number of post count, and often used to circumvent a thread, which is either way, not acceptable. It's only applicable if your post is in the right forum., but then the rules in that certain thread should be followed.

7.Arguing and 'ranting'

  • We deeply advise our members not to interact in one-to-one disagreements, arguments or disputes of personal nature. Neither should engage in 'ranting' - trust me. It is a never ending headache, and you'd only be infuriated by these aggressive acts, which add little or nothing to the corresponding topic or question posted. They aren't also welcomed to our forum. All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.
    However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in these forums, you are expected to obey this rule. Doing otherwise will get your account banned temporarily, or permanently if the situation becomes severe enough (this will be left to the discretion of the moderation team).

8.Abusing Moderators

  • We have a highly respected team of volunteer moderators here on ICT Forum, and they deserve to be treated with respect. If you are abusive in any form of contact with our staff, or direct abuse at a moderator in a thread, then the forum will issue an infraction as we deem appropriate measure against your act. It will be left to individual moderators to decide if they feel they have been offended in any way. The admins will also investigate any infraction issued for abusing the mods or staffs.

9.Copyright-infringing material.

  • Do not upload, attach, or otherwise post any copyrighted material which you are not free to redistribute (subject to the licensing terms of the specific item). If you have a question about having permission to post or attach a specific item, please ask a moderator. But if you want to post/share them make sure that you putted Credit to its owners.
    We do not condone nor accept posts pertaining to illegal activities such as hacking, cracking, warez, or spam.
    Any posts or threads found in violation of this rule will be edited or deleted, and the poster warned or possibly banned; at the moderation team's discretion.

10.Cross post questions.

  • Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question.
    If you're not sure where to post, ask a moderator first.

11.Do not post "Free" threads.

  • Posting pyramid scams (such as free iPods, LCDs etc.) is forbidden. All such posts/signatures will be edited or deleted. Any new users posting scams will be banned permanently; contributing users will either be warned or temporarily banned.

12.Violence and Pornography.

  • Posting inappropriate content such as promoting violence in any form and posting/promoting Pornography is not tolerable. Any users caught doing this act will be punished accordingly.

13.Avatars or Signature

  • Using Avatar or Signature that exceeds the Maximum Size is not allowed. Using any type of embedded flash video player, music player, flash games, flash banner, and any type of embedded flash objects are forbidden. Any users caught using these inappropriate objects will be punished accordingly.

#1: What happens if I break a rule?
If you break a rule, then you will either be warned or banned. A ban of your user account may either be temporary or permanent.
While a ban will normally involve only a ban of your user account, in extreme circumstances, it is possible to block your IP address from the forums.
The administrators and moderators also have the right to edit, delete, move or close and thread or post as they see necessary, without prior warning.

#2: What happens if I see a thread/post which has broken a rule?

Please report it to the moderator team for them to act.

#3: Where can I find out who is in charge?
In the Forum Group page, the group Admin, and Moderators are in charge of this forum..
When in doubt, ask a moderator about the topic of your thread or post. They will be able to tell you if it violates the rules or not.

Please keep it in mind that the following rules also applies anywhere within our vicinity, our forum - through chat, thread, posts, private or visitor messages. Additionally, we request our members to report any form of activity that are against our rules that hasn't been detected by our staff, by sending a private message to who ever is available, or online.

In any case the aforementioned rules are not kept, we reserve the rights to ban you for inappropriate behavior and may lead to an IP ban for persistent violation..
